Halloween cupcakes … this is where it all began.

I’ve always loved baking and then some where along the way ( probably watching episodes of Ace of Cakes) that the world of cake decorating opened up for me.

The plan to go to school to learn cake decorating was delayed, partly due to my procrastination and partly due to my doggie being sick at that time. (By the way, Bubbles is in doggie heaven now)

So back to my story. I’ve always loved baking and once in a while, I would bake some goodies to treat my friends at work. This time I made some chocolate cupcakes and brought them to work.

One of my co-workers took one of my cupcakes and gave it to another co-worker who ate the cupcake in 0.01 second – fondant and all ( Okay, so I exaggerated)

Gail immediately emailed me to tell me how much she liked my cupcakes and that night – she placed the first Sweet Loft order.

You can’t ask for a better customer – She is supportive, honest with her feedback, she lets me experiment/learn new techniques and ideas with her orders which allows me to be creative. Gail plays a huge role in giving me a kick start of starting this adventure of mine. I am excited about what is down the road for me, but whatever it is – I am forever grateful to her.
